About Me

Tanner Laycock is a serial entrepreneur, athlete, and digital marketing strategist from Frisco, Texas. After playing football as a defensive back at Saint Vincent College, Tanner took an unconventional path — dropping out to join BlitzMetrics full-time under the mentorship of Dennis Yu, one of the world’s most recognized digital marketing pioneers.

At BlitzMetrics, Tanner became Director of Marketing Systems, helping develop the Content Factory process and the “Topic Wheel” methodology that trains young adults and virtual assistants worldwide to generate leads for local service businesses through strategic social content.

Tanner traveled the globe with Dennis, speaking at major conferences including DigiMarCon, Traffic & Conversion Summit in San Diego, and events across Europe, Asia, and Latin America. He co-presented the Hustle & Flowchart podcast’s landmark 200th episode on the Topic Wheel, and has shared stages and greenrooms with industry leaders including Kerri Kasem, Matthew Januszek, and Dr. Robert Lyons (founder of Cocoon/Kaqun). Together with Dennis, he explored cutting-edge wellness technology in Hungary, co-presented at GoDaddy and Infusionsoft HQ, and lived for two years at Dennis’s home in Phoenix — playing basketball, hitting the gym, and playing golf daily.

Today, Tanner has launched a new chapter as the entrepreneur behind GolfTanner, selling premium and custom high-end golf carts through JM Precision Golf Carts in Northeast Ohio. He brings the same discipline, personal branding strategy, and hustle from the digital world into the fast-growing premium golf cart market — building a recognizable personal brand on Instagram (@golftanner) and beyond.

I began as a student in Dennis Yu’s Content Factory program, where I learned digital marketing by doing. Working on real campaigns for local service businesses—running Google Ads accounts, setting up Facebook campaigns, and performing SEO audits—taught me how to turn content into leads and measure what matters.

Since those early days I’ve traveled the world with Dennis, speaking at conferences, leading workshops, and training other young marketers. We’ve filmed training sessions like the ‘Dollar a Day’ method, recorded live site audits at DigiMarCon and other marketing summits, and created dozens of videos showing how mentorship and execution drive results.

Today I build systems that publish and promote content for local service businesses, coaches, and professionals. I help launch personal brand websites, manage local SEO and reputation, and implement the four‑stage Content Factory process that turns expertise into phone calls. Every project follows a simple principle: create useful, truthful content, structure it for search, and amplify it with smart distribution.
